Today I am going to shared my writing about Biography

Before you read this, I am sorry, because I am a newbie to make a biography of someone or person. Ok,, lets start........

The Endless Struggle  

Susi Lestari, An English Department Student in University of Lancang Kuning. Susi Lestari was born on August 14th 1997 in Pekanbaru. She is the third child and the youngest child in her family. She has many nickname they are susi, tari, and sule. She was an attractive girl because she have good attitude and cheerful whenever she go.

She start to school  in elementary school of 28 Pekanbaru, she have many friends cause she is a humble person. And then, she school in Junior High school 6 Pekanbaru. She grow up to be a teenager and know what she want. In Junior High School, she follow extraculiculer  “Rohis”. She grow up to be a moeslimah girl and she so innocent at the time. Three years later, she is a student in Senior High School 7 Pekanbaru. At this moment, tari start to know about love, life and friendship. She get many friends to share her daily activities, to talk their life and others.

Actually, before study in UNILAK, she want to study in State University in Riau such as UNRI or UIN but she failed when she passed the test. Then, University of Lancang Kuning is her choise and her parents choise to continue her study. Another reason she choose UNILAK because its near from her house.

When she choose the major that she like, she get many consideration. From Law Faculty, tari like to debate or give an argument and she want to learn in law faculty. However, her parents give a suggestion to her future life if she studied in law. Day by day she though, finally she choose faculty of teacher training and education, with the major is english department.

Right now, Susi Lestari study in a 3rd semester  in Faculty of teacher training and education. She choose an English Department because her parents want her get a good job with learning English. She tried to learn engllish more.

This is it....

Never forget you

Waktu akan terus berjalan dan tidak akan pernah mau menunggu. Aku tahu hal itu. Masa lalu akan selalu menjadi masa lalu yang tidak akan pernah kembali. Aku rindu  masa itu. Itu  adalah salah satu kenangan yang tak ingin ku lepas dari ingatanku. Walaupun kenangan itu akan membuat ku selalu meneteskan air mata  di setiap sisa hidupku. Aku akan terus menyimpannya, walau itu berat. Inilah masa laluku.

     Namaku Aliyah Mufia Sholeha. Ayahku memberikan nama itu agar aku menjadi anak yang berakal, pandai, patuh dan soleha. Tapi faktanya aku adalah anak yang keras kepala begitu pula dengan ayahku. Kami memiliki beberapa sifat yang sama sehingga kami sering berbeda pendapat dan saling marah satu sama lain. Aku tahu ayahku tidak bermaksud untuk memarahiku, tetapi aku anak yang mudah terbawa perasaan. Tapi disamping itu, aku tahu beliau menyayangiku lebih dari beliau menyayangi dirinya sendiri.

     Sekarang aku duduk dikelas 3 SMA. Hobiku adalah minum susu. Aku  sangat cinta susu coklat. Tapi aku lebih cinta kepada ayahku. Ya, karna beliau selalu membuatkanku susu coklat dipagi hari. Setiap pagi beliau akan memastikan aku meminum susu buatannya sebelum berangkat sekolah. Sewaktu kecil ayah berkata susu coklat bisa buat aku jadi kuat seperti Superman. Jadi aku selalu minum susu coklat.

     Sabtu pagi itu, ketika ibu sibuk membuat kue aku bangun terlambat. Ayahku mencoba untuk membangunkan aku. “adek, ini udah mau jam setengah 7, adek nggak  sekolah? Nanti terlambat” bujuk ayahku. “iya, ini adek mau bangun kok” jawabku. “cepet mandi sana,” ujarnya. “iya yah, ini bangun kok, tapi kepala adek agak pusing” kataku. “ayah buatin susu ya,” kata ayah. “okedeh, makasih ya ayah,” jawabku.

      Ternyata didapur hanya ada susu putih. Ayah terpaksa membuat susu itu saja agar aku tidak pergi ke sekolah dengan perut kosong.  Tapi aku kesal dengan ayah karna aku tidak suka susu putih. Ayah terus memaksaku untuk meminum susu tersebut. Aku terpaksa meminumnya walau sedikit. Aku memasang wajah cemberut menuju sekolah. Ayah tahu kebiasaanku jika sedang kesal. Jadi beliau hanya tersenyum saja melihat ku dengan wajah super duper kesal.

it is the second post about literature, Im gonna talk about Prose

so What is Prose ???

1. Prose is writing that is not poetry : ordinary writing

2. Prose is a literary medium distinguished from poetry especially by its greater irregularity and variety of rhythm and its closer correspondence to the patterns of everyday speech.

3. Prose refers simply to any written piece of work that is built on sentences (and paragraphs) rather than lines or verses (like poetry).

4. Prose is a communicative style that sounds natural and uses grammatical structure. Prose is the opposite of verse, or poetry, which employs a rhythmic structure that does not mimic ordinary speech.

5. Prose is  the  ordinary language of men in speaking or writing, language no cast in poetical measure or rhythm, contradistinnguished from verse or metrical  composition.

6. Prose is a form of language that has no formal metrical structure. It applies a natural flow of speech, and ordinary grammatical structure rather than rhythmic structure, such as in the case of traditional poetry.

Introduction to Literature

Welcome in my blog again. Its been a long time I didn’t post again. Yeah, this is my newest post in a few months. Hahaha.

Okay, this post talk about introduction to Literature, I got it from my majority and I’ll try to  share with you. Do yo know what is Literature??

Literature will talk about “sastra” such as Prose( Novel, etc), Poetry (poem) and Drama. Here I am gonna give some definision of Literature, they are :

1.    According Pickering, James H & Hoeper, Jeffrey D

" the creation of literature is a uniquely human activity, born of man's timeless desire to understand, express, and finally share experiences, (1981. 01:307)".

2.    Rebecca West

 Literature is " Literature  must  be  an  analysis  ofexperience  and  a  synthesis  of  the findings into a unity" (Rebecca West).

3.    The Latin litteratura meaning

Literature is a term used to describe written and sometimes spoken material. Derived from the Latin litteratura meaning "writing formed with letters," literature most commonly refers to works of the creative imagination, including poetry, drama, fiction, nonfiction, journalism, and in some instances, song.  

4.    Terry Eagleton

“Literature transforms and intensifies ordinary language, deviates systematically from everyday speech”.

5.    Salman Rushdie or Vladamir Nabakov. 

Literature is the creation of another world, a world that we can only see through reading literature.

6.    The 11th edition of Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary 

 literature to be “writings having excellence of form or expression and expressing ideas of permanent or universal interest.” 

7.    Literature is something that reflects society, makes us think about ourselves and our society, allows us to enjoy language and beauty, it can be didactic, and it reflects on “the human condition”. 

8.    Literature is writings  in  which  expression  and  form,  in connection  with ideas of permanent and universal interest, are characteristic or essential features, as poetry, novels, history, biography, and essays.

9.    Literature is   writing considered as an art form, or any single writing deemed to have artistic or intellectual value, often due to deploying language in ways that differ from ordinary usage. 

10. Literature is a term used to describe written or spoken material. Broadly speaking, “Literature” is used to describe writing to more technical or scientific works, but the term is most commonly used to refer to works of creative imagination, including works of Poetry, drama, fiction, and nonficton.

   From 10 definison above, we can conclude that Literature is writings that have a beautiful word and excellence which is based on the human condition, life.
